About WCF PAC

Supporting Extraordinary Women for 40 Years

Women's Campaign Fund is the first national organization in the country to financially support women candidates. We are dedicated to supporting the advancement of strong, women leaders of all parties and at all levels of government. Founded in 1974, we have four decades of experience helping thousands of women overcome the challenges they face when seeking elected office.

Early Means Early

WCF has a proud tradition of supporting women at the earliest stages in their political career. From being the first national organization to ask Sandra Fluke to run for office to having stood with Tammy Baldwin at every stage of her impressive career, WCF is there to provide support to women candidates when they need it most. We leverage our 40 years of history as an established political player to help women candidates who might otherwise be overlooked by traditional political institutions.

So What Does It Mean to be a WCF-Endorsed Woman?

Simply put, the WCF woman is a champion of a representative government, a believer that our policies as a nation are stronger and smarter when represented by the full population. A WCF woman is also a firm believer in reproductive choices and options for all, someone who respects the real life decisions women and their families face every day.

Your Support

We couldn’t do any of this without you. Your generous contributions to WCF PAC are what enable us find, recruit, and support women candidates across the country who share our values. Your support goes directly to women running for office all across the country.

But Don't Take Our Word for It

Val Arkoosh
(2014 WCF-Endorsed Congressional Candidate, PA-13)
ʺAs a first-time candidate, Women's Campaign Fund has been incredibly helpful in my race. WCF has been a fearless advocate for strong women candidates across the country. Their support has been instrumental in the early buzz surrounding my candidacy. They care deeply about who they support, always willing to go out of their way to help, which played a large role in my early fundraising success. I'm especially grateful that they recognized the potential in my campaign and decided to get involved at an early stage.ʺ

Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01)
“WCF is highly respected for their successful efforts to achieve parity for women in political office. They know America is best served when women serve in office, and they work to make that happen.”

Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17)
Imagine if the makeup of Congress and of ALL political bodies reflected the 50-50 gender balance of our population. What a better place the world would be! WCF is bold enough to work towards making such a dream come to life. I am grateful for WCF’s support.”

Texas State Senator Wendy Davis (2014 WCF-Endorsed Gubernatorial Candidate, Texas)
“With WCF’s support, I will continue fighting for hardworking families, quality education, access to vital health services, and creating jobs Texans can be proud to have.”

  • ★ 50% Representation

Why should good government depend on only half of the nation’s human capital? WCF commits to 50% representation of women in elected office by 2028.

  • ★ Common Ground

Common ground just means problems get solved more collaboratively, for the good of more people. It’s the bedrock of our leadership at home and abroad.

  • ★ Viability for Election

It takes more than money to make a candidate worth electing. WCF looks for guts, street sense, situational awareness, resilience -- the full range of gifts a woman brings to the race.

  • ★ Non-Partisan

A woman’s place is in every party, every elected office, at every level. Period.
