As a woman of color, who was born in the Dominican Republic to a U.S. military family, and was homeless as a teenager, Charniele brings a very unique perspective to Richmond. Charniele has chaired the Virginia State House Reproductive Rights Caucus and has stood as a strong voice for Virginia women and their families.

Virginia House of Delegates – Virginia’s 46th District – Incumbent. Virginia is a battleground state for reproductive health issues, and Charniele is one of the strongest pro-choice advocates in the State House.
