WCF endorses qualified candidates running for all levels of office, all across the country who pledge to uphold Roe v Wade, and to strongly support effective practices to prevent unintended pregnancy. In 2008, we are putting a special emphasis on identifying extraordinary pro-choice women candidates in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Hampshire, Missouri and Arizona.

Endorsement Application

In order to request an endorsement application, please fill out our Run Form.  After we receive your application, a WCF staff member will contact you to follow up.  In general, WCF makes endorsements on a monthly basis.

Endorsement criteria

WCF endorses qualified candidates running for all levels of office, all across the country who pledge to uphold Roe v Wade, and to strongly support effective practices to prevent unintended pregnancy. To make our endorsement meaningful, the process is competitive, and is based upon the written application and, in almost all cases, a follow-up interview.  Please submit our Run Form to request an application.

Endorsement benefits

WCF supports our endorsed candidates in a variety of ways, including promotion on our website, in our newsletters, and in other communication to our members.  We also make financial contributions through the WCF PAC to some, but not all, of our endorsed candidates.
