Ladder to The Top

Ladder to the Top

SAVE THE DATE: September 23, 2010

Give women a ladder to the top.
It’s time to shatter that glass ceiling!

Join WCF for an evening of empowering women:

First, celebrate women’s leadership on the Hill and beyond at our Hail to the Chiefs Reception. Held from 6:00-7:30pm, this tradition shines the spotlight on the talented women Chiefs of Staff on the Hill who support our leading members of Congress.

Prominent women from the fields of labor to government will be honored and a new twist on WCF’s recently premiered Voices from the Ladder performance piece will be debuted.

Then, at 7:30pm, proceed to the Dinner Party of Your Choice, at which you will dine with WCF-Endorsed Candidates, Chiefs of Staff, and talented women and men from the fields of politics, law, banking, labor, media, and more, in extraordinary restaurants around our nation’s capital at our Parties of Your Choice Gala, D.C.

Event registration will be open soon.

If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Glover, WCF Events and Scheduling Manager, at 202-393-8164 or StephanieG@WCFonline.org.

Women’s Campaign Forum needs volunteers at the Democratic National Convention.

We are looking for volunteers who are available in Denver on Monday, August 25 to participate in a day-long She Should Run Blitz.

We’re gathering the names of 750 pro-choice women from all across the country who should run for public office and we need energetic individuals who are up to the challenge of gathering 15 names each on Monday, August 25.  We’ll provide you training, all necessary materials and a ticket for the Unconventional Women's Symposium.  During the symposium, volunteers will gather names of pro-choice women between presenters, such as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.  Be part of our effort to start incredible women on a path to becoming the influential public office holders they were always meant to be.  Volunteer for the She Should Run Blitz effort on Monday, August 25.  To learn more about She Should Run, visit www.SheShouldRun.org.  Questions about our effort?  Contact Erin Cutraro at erin@wcfonline.org.
