WCF Difference
-
Early
We understand the importance of supporting women at the earliest stages of their race, when that support is most needed.
-
At All Levels
We support women leaders at all levels of government - and we do mean all. From school board to Congress, women are needed at all levels to make a positive difference in their communities.
-
Bipartisan
We support women leaders on both sides of the aisle who support women.
-
Bold
We are not bound by party politics or conventional thinking. We are uncompromising in our vision of more women in government and are willing to challenge the status quo to achieve it.
-
Diverse
We want a truly representative government that reflects the diversity of our country, including women of color, LGBT women, and young women.

President/CEO Siobhan “Sam” Bennett Announces WCF’s Return to Women’s Campaign Fund, Unveils New Look
(Washington, DC)— Citing this year’s unprecedented attacks on women’s reproductive rights and the need to improve the current climate for women in this nation, WCF President/CEO Siobhan “Sam” Bennett announced this morning that the Women’s Campaign Forum is returning to its original name, the Women’s Campaign Fund. WCF is also unveiling a new look, designed in partnership with MTV, to reflect its change of name. Siobhan “Sam” Bennett states:
“I am honored to announce that WCF, the oldest organization financially supporting women candidates, is returning to the Women’s Campaign Fund brand. For 37 years, WCF has supported outstanding women candidates, regardless of political party, early in their races—when that support matters most. To emphasize the need for more pro-choice women at all levels of office and WCF’s long history of building the pipeline of women candidates, we are changing our name back to the Women’s Campaign Fund. At the same time, we are unveiling a fresh new look that reflects our enduring and non-partisan mission.
The Women’s Campaign Fund remains committed to recruiting, empowering, and endorsing women candidates who support reproductive health choices and options at all levels of office and from both sides of the aisle. We are excited to embark on this new chapter building on WCF’s distinguished history, and are delighted to continue working with our members, endorsed candidates, and elected officials to dramatically change the landscape of American politics.”
The Women’s Campaign Fund is a national, non-partisan organization dedicated to advancing the political participation of talented women leaders who support reproductive health choices and options at all levels of office, throughout the country, regardless of political party.
