WCF Difference

  • Early

We understand the importance of supporting women at the earliest stages of their race, when that support is most needed.

Just ask New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan who credits WCF with playing a game-changing role in her historic election

  • At All Levels

We support women leaders at all levels of government - and we do mean all. From school board to Congress, women are needed at all levels to make a positive difference in their communities.

  • Bipartisan

We support women leaders on both sides of the aisle who support women.

  • Bold

We are not bound by party politics or conventional thinking. We are uncompromising in our vision of more women in government and are willing to challenge the status quo to achieve it.

  • Diverse

We want a truly representative government that reflects the diversity of our country, including women of color, LGBT women, and young women.

Fellowship Program

WCF helped build my resume more than any other organization that I have previously worked for by providing me with trainings on how to secure my next job and the skills to impress my future bosses.

–Martha Fedorowicz, Fall 2011 Communications Fellow

WCF is currently seeking applications for our Summer 2013 Fellowship Program.

WCF's Fellowship Program is designed to provide young people with practical, firsthand experience within a national political organization. Our Fellows gain experience producing substantial, high caliber work while benefiting from our commitment to their professional development and gaining access to the Fellowship Alumni Network. Each Fellow will specialize in one of four categories: Communications, Development, Political, or Programs.

WCF would also like to honor our past by recognizing the contributions of suffragists, Bertha Wurmser Herz and Annie Kahn Feinsod. We are proud to announce that two of our WCF fellowships will be named in their honor with a fund established to that end by their grandson Roger J. Herz. Thank you, Roger, for the outstanding vision of the Feinsod Herz Fund.

The application deadline for Summer 2013 Fellows is April 1st. All interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis as we receive applications. Early applications are highly encouraged.
