Parties of Your Choice NYC - 2014: Schedule & Venue

Schedule & Venue

This year, we’re hosting the Gala at Eventi, a fabulously fun hotel in Chelsea and just a 3-minute walk from Penn Station. We'll begin the evening at 6pm with a VIP reception followed by the general reception at 6:30. Then, instead of scattering to various dinner parties across the city (less time hailing a cab, more time mingling with our guests!), we will have a special dinner designed just for us by Eventi’s new Executive Chef, Laurent Tourondel.

6:00pm  VIP Reception: Your opportunity to mingle with WCF supporters, WCF Women-in-Office, and WCF Candidates, all with a fantastic view of the Empire State Building.

6:30pm  General Reception: Join your fellow WCF Supporters for a cocktail before dinner – Cosmopolitan, anyone? Or perhaps a glass of wine chosen by Kimpton’s Master Sommelier, Emily Wines (yes, that's her real name).

7:30pm  Dinner Party: This year, the political and special guests will be coming to you, with someone new joining your table at every course.

  • ★ 50/50 Representation

Why should good government depend on only half of the nation’s human capital? WCF commits to 50/50 representation of women and men in elected office by 2028.

  • ★ Common Ground

Common ground just means problems get solved more collaboratively, for the good of more people. It’s the bedrock of our leadership at home and abroad.

  • ★ Viability for Election

It takes more than money to make a candidate worth electing. WCF looks for guts, street sense, situational awareness, resilience -- the full range of gifts a woman brings to the race.

  • ★ Non-Partisan

A woman’s place is in every party, every elected office, at every level. Period.
