Women's Campaign Forum

WCF, founded in 1974, is the only national, non-partisan political organization supporting women who respect reproductive health choices at all levels of office, during the earliest stages of their public life.

Together, we did it. The 2008 elections were a banner year for pro-choice women running for office.

On a historical November 4th, 67 WCF endorsed candidates were elected to public office, including the first woman Governor to the state of North Carolina, and 14 victories in state and local races as diverse as State Treasurer to State House.  Click here to view the "Election Day 2008: WCF's Endorsed Candidate Map".

With the elections of Women's Campaign Forum stars Kay Hagan (NC) and Jeanne Shaheen (NH), we reached an all-time high of 17 women in the U.S. Senate. Unlike the incumbents they unseated, these are women proud to fight for our right to choose.
