About Us
The Women’s Campaign Forum is dedicated to advancing the political participation and leadership of women who support reproductive health choices for all.
WCF, founded in 1974, is a non-partisan national network dedicated to achieving parity for women in public office. As political venture capitalists, we work to advance women leaders at all levels of political participation and empower individuals to stand up for issues of critical importance to the health of the nation, including reproductive health.
Goals & Principles
WCF is committed to...
- Building the pool of women leaders at all levels of political participation
- Achieving parity for women in public office
- Empowering individuals to protect and advance all issues that affect women including reproductive health.
The WCF Experience
As political venture capitalists, WCF is unique amongst women's organizations...
- We focus on the woman, not only the race.
- We work closely with women leaders at all stages of their political lives to help them cultivate their expertise and enrich their experience.
- Our endorsements come early when the need for support is greatest.
- We're nimble and approachable. We pride ourselves on action and avoid red tape.
- We give help where and when it's needed.
How do we do it?
WCF works towards its goals by...
- Bringing present and future women leaders together - from grassroots activists to federal candidates - through online and offline programs.
- Providing practical tools for political engagement through genuine accessibility and personal touch.
- Investing in WCF candidates in the earliest days through financial contributions and access to the WCF national network.
- Collaborating with other women's organizations.
The work of WCF is divided among three organizations:
- Women's Campaign Forum, a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization working to advance the political participation of pro-choice women.
- WCF Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping women build the skills and infrastructure they need to become more effective leaders in public life.
- WCF PAC, a political action committee dedicated to electing pro-choice women candidates of all parties by providing them with the financial contributions and supplemental support they need to win.
