WCF, founded in 1974, is the only national, non-partisan political organization supporting women who respect reproductive health choices at all levels of office, during the earliest stages of their public life.

WCF Programs

  • She Should Run™

    Many women never consider running for office. She Should Run™ provides an online tool for talented women leaders to be asked to run for public office. We then give them the encouragement, information, and connections they need.

  • Candidate Endorsements

    WCF endorses qualified women candidates who support reproductive choices running for all levels of office, nationwide. WCF supports our endorsed candidates in a variety of ways, including promotion on our website, in our newsletters, and in other communication to our members.

  • Semester Fellowships

    Providing young women and men the opportunity to gain firsthand experience within a national political organization.

  • Next Generation

    This program offers an opportunity for young women students and professionals between the ages of 21-35 to attend WCF events through donor sponsorship.

We recently held briefings in New York City and Washington, DC.

We were priviledged to be joined by social policy expert Dr. Wendy Wolf who presented her unique research on how to reframe the conversation about reproductive choices at both events. 

In New York City we featured WCF-Endorsed Candidate Lois Herr and  former candidate Connie Saltonstall.

These two courageous women energized our audience of over 30 people by highlighting their campaigns for the seats of Joe Pitts and Bart Stupak - the anti-choice villains of the health care debate.

In Washington, DC we featured three WCF-endorsed candidates:

All three trailblazing women inspired our audience and stirred exciting conversation among the attendees.
