Summer 2009 Fellows
Sabrina Lakhani, Development Fellow
Sabrina is originally from Tampa, Fl. She currently attends the University of Florida (go gators!!) where she is double majoring in Political Science and Women’s Studies, as well as minoring in Spanish. In the next five years, Sabrina sees herself attending law school and practicing human rights law, with a concentration on women’s rights. Because of her unique heritage (half Pakistani and half Arabic), Sabrina has decided she wants to spend her life fighting for the rights of women in Middle Eastern countries who are often ignored and left marginalized. In her free time, Sabrina loves to read, listen to music, and hang out with friends. She’s very excited to move to DC and begin this summer as a WCF fellow!
