Parties of Your Choice NYC - 2014: What's New This Year?

What's New This Year?

We thought our 40th was the perfect time to shake things up a little bit. All your favorite parts will still be there, of course: the Congresswomen, the women candidates, a fabulous dinner with amazing guests and other supporters passionate about electing more women to office.

Here are a couple of the exciting changes we have planned for this year.

• First, we’re hosting the Gala at Eventi, a fabulously fun hotel in Chelsea. You’re going to love it!

• Then, instead of scattering to various dinner parties across the city (less time hailing a cab, more time mingling with our guests!), we will have a special dinner designed just for us by Eventi’s new Executive Chef, Laurent Tourondel.

• You’ll still get a chance to have those intimate dinner conversations with our political and celebrity guests, but this year, the guests are coming to you! During each course of dinner, you will have a different political or special guest join your table. So, be sure to stay tuned as we announce our exciting lineup in the weeks leading up to the event.

• And don’t worry, the dinner parties themselves aren’t going anywhere! We’ll actually be hosting those very same dinner parties (in all those fabulous Manhattan homes) throughout the year. You’re invited, of course!

  • ★ 50/50 Representation

Why should good government depend on only half of the nation’s human capital? WCF commits to 50/50 representation of women and men in elected office by 2028.

  • ★ Common Ground

Common ground just means problems get solved more collaboratively, for the good of more people. It’s the bedrock of our leadership at home and abroad.

  • ★ Viability for Election

It takes more than money to make a candidate worth electing. WCF looks for guts, street sense, situational awareness, resilience -- the full range of gifts a woman brings to the race.

  • ★ Non-Partisan

A woman’s place is in every party, every elected office, at every level. Period.
