100% Representation

50% Representation/100% of America

Women are 51% of the population of the U.S. and 56% of the conventional workforce. Men hold 80% of elected offices nationwide. Women have long been represented by a number of good men who care deeply about the people they represent.

Women have the talent, the wisdom, and the skill to excel in those same offices.  It begs the question:  Why are we governing America with one hand tied behind our back?

We know that women and men share equally in the nation’s destiny and in their responsibility for a government that represents us all. We see that when Americans work together, we get more done.

We acknowledged the need for women to participate in government as the law of the land nearly a century ago when we amended the Constitution to ensure a woman’s right to vote. That was a great start. It’s time to finish the job.

WCF believes good government need no longer depend upon only half of the nation’s human capital.

The Women’s Campaign Fund commits to achieving a more perfect union through 50% representation of women in elected office nationwide by 2028.

Why should good government depend on only half of the nation’s human capital? WCF commits to 50% representation of women in elected office by 2028.

  • ★ Common Ground

Common ground just means problems get solved more collaboratively, for the good of more people. It’s the bedrock of our leadership at home and abroad.

  • ★ Viability for Election

It takes more than money to make a candidate worth electing. WCF looks for guts, street sense, situational awareness, resilience -- the full range of gifts a woman brings to the race.

  • ★ Non-Partisan

A woman’s place is in every party, every elected office, at every level. Period.
