Game Changer: Connie Pillich

Despite the anti-choice majority in the Ohio State House, Connie has been a consistent champion for women's rights and economic fairness. As an Air Force veteran, a state legislator, and a mom, Connie Pillich is an Ohio leader unlike any other. Her background as a veteran, lawyer, and small business owner, and her reputation as battle tested by previous campaigns for state representative and local office have established her as the type of women we need in statewide office.

State Treasurer – Ohio (Statewide) – Challenger. The incumbent, Josh Mandel, ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate in 2012. His opponent was endorsed by 16 of the 18 major newspapers in Ohio.

Connie recently sponsored the Ohio Equal Pay Act.

Connie is the ranking member on the House Veterans Affairs Committee and is, herself, an Air Force Veteran.

Connie also serves on the House Financial Institutions committee.

Connie is a WCF woman-in-office and was endorsed by WCF in her previous state legislative races.

  • ★ 50/50 Representation

Why should good government depend on only half of the nation’s human capital? WCF commits to 50/50 representation of women and men in elected office by 2028.

  • ★ Common Ground

Common ground just means problems get solved more collaboratively, for the good of more people. It’s the bedrock of our leadership at home and abroad.

  • ★ Viability for Election

It takes more than money to make a candidate worth electing. WCF looks for guts, street sense, situational awareness, resilience -- the full range of gifts a woman brings to the race.

  • ★ Non-Partisan

A woman’s place is in every party, every elected office, at every level. Period.
