About-the-Race.jpg

U.S. House of Representatives – Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District – Challenger. The incumbent, Congressman Sean Duffy is incredibly hostile to women’s reproductive choices and options. He has a 0% rating from NARAL, a 100% rating by the National Right to Life Committee, and frequently sponsors legislation that would defund Planned Parenthood.

Kelly is currently serving on the Ashland City Council, a position she has held since 2011.

She was previously the Executive Director of the Alliance for Sustainability where she focused on sustainable communities and economic development.

Kelly coordinated a regional pilot project with local governments and the Wisconsin Office of Energy Independence to increase energy efficiency and reliance on renewable energy in the state.

As a small business owner, Kelly has spent the last three years working with a regional farmer’s cooperative to build a local food system that will support family farms for generations.
