Game Changer: Kristy Pagan

Kristy Pagan

One of the most dynamic women leaders in Michigan, Kristy has leveraged her own qualifications as well as her labor background to help women run for office across the country. She even started her own business to help women and progressives win.

State House of Representatives – Michigan’s 21st District – Open Seat.

In 2013, Kristy helped organize the very first Women's Power Summit that brought together over 200 women from Michigan.

While earning her Master’s degree, Kristy worked for Michigan’s first woman U.S. Senator, Debbie Stabenow, as a legislative aide in education policy.

She was also elected Chair of D.C.’s largest networking organization for women, WIN; and served as a national grassroots organizer for the Center for Science in the Public Interest, non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children.

  • ★ 50/50 Representation

Why should good government depend on only half of the nation’s human capital? WCF commits to 50/50 representation of women and men in elected office by 2028.

  • ★ Common Ground

Common ground just means problems get solved more collaboratively, for the good of more people. It’s the bedrock of our leadership at home and abroad.

  • ★ Viability for Election

It takes more than money to make a candidate worth electing. WCF looks for guts, street sense, situational awareness, resilience -- the full range of gifts a woman brings to the race.

  • ★ Non-Partisan

A woman’s place is in every party, every elected office, at every level. Period.
