to Jan Lipsen, a woman pioneer leader on the Hill
&
The First Annual "WCF Shattered Glass Award"
to Rick Diegel, former IBEW Political Director & WCF Board Member

This tradition, held at the historic Sewall-Belmont House and Museum, allows us to shine the spotlight on the critical role played by our female chiefs in supporting our leading members of Congress. Your participation will help make the evening a memorable success as we pay tribute to the people who work so diligently behind the scenes, and are not often celebrated for their hard work and commitment.

WCF, founded in 1974, is a non-partisan national network dedicated to achieving parity for women in public office. As political venture capitalists, we work to advance women leaders at all levels of political participation and empower individuals to stand up for issues of critical importance to the health of the nation, including reproductive health.

Through our affiliated Political Action Committee, WCF PAC provides direct financial support to our endorsed candidates. Through our sister organization, the WCF Foundation, we conduct original research relevant to women in politics. We believe that gender parity for women in public office is essential to the strength and future of our nation.
